PAWS Charity Event (Lynnwood) | Monroe Pet Photographer

Fall is here … Kind of … Temperatures are still in the 80’s and I’m lovin’ it! But, soon we will have the changing of leaves and cooler weather and I’m OK with that too! Kids are back in school, we gain an hour (woo hoo), and get to start wearing our jackets and scarves. What a great time to schedule in a photo session for your dog (or other pet).

“…the thrill that’ll getcha when you get your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone…” | Monroe Commercial Photographer

Well, not on the COVER, but congratulations, Maria Forsberg-Hahn, for being featured in an article in “Rolling Stone”. She is competing in the X Games for the first time this year, and the magazine wanted to do an article about new faces participating in the event. She clearly wasn’t a random choice (see below). This girl is TALENTED! (and lucky for me, very photogenic).

She was kind enough to ask if she could provide her own photographer for the spread, and surprised me with a phone call. Well, it was more of phone tag all day. She said she had exciting news. I had no clue what it could be, but never expected this. Regardless, I am grateful. Thank you, Maria, for thinking of me in such an exciting moment for YOU! Congratulations! I know you are gonna kick butt at the X Games!

Hahn Wedding | Marysville Wedding Photographer

This newly-wed couple is currently sitting on a beach in Hawaii, probably looking at all these pictures from their phone and sipping mai tais. I have to take just a second to be jealous after all these rainy days…. 🙂

Ted & Maria couldn’t have lucked out for a better day if they had hoped. After almost 2 straight weeks of rain, the sun came out for the entire day of the wedding. Sure enough, Sunday was back to rain. This couple was so easy to work with and photograph. They are such positive and laid back people that the entire day was so much fun. I don’t think I saw one stressed out person the ENTIRE day … They both come from loving families and have such a great future ahead of them.

Thanks so much Ted & Maria for letting me be a part of capturing your special day. Please bring back some of that sun with you!
