Yesterday we had a couple classes from the Monroe High School come out to the studio for a field trip. It was so much fun teaching the students about light drawing / painting. They were all very involved and tried out different lights and took turns being models. Even the Vice Principal was willing to pose for us in his best ‘street fighter’ pose. (Below)

Josh + Tori = a big combination of talent

Seriously. If you have not checked out one of their performances, make sure to follow them on Facebook at, The Stori, to find out where their next show will be.

They both have recently been accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston and will be heading there this fall. We did a session for some of their upcoming events. Be sure to check them out and if you like what you hear, donate to their upcoming venture.

And, be sure to head on over to our Facebook page and let Josh + Tori know which are YOUR favorites!

Well, not on the COVER, but congratulations, Maria Forsberg-Hahn, for being featured in an article in “Rolling Stone”. She is competing in the X Games for the first time this year, and the magazine wanted to do an article about new faces participating in the event. She clearly wasn’t a random choice (see below). This girl is TALENTED! (and lucky for me, very photogenic).

She was kind enough to ask if she could provide her own photographer for the spread, and surprised me with a phone call. Well, it was more of phone tag all day. She said she had exciting news. I had no clue what it could be, but never expected this. Regardless, I am grateful. Thank you, Maria, for thinking of me in such an exciting moment for YOU! Congratulations! I know you are gonna kick butt at the X Games!

Good luck at the X Games Maria!

Maria will be competing on Saturday, July 30th at the X Games.

Special thanks to Mike Varouhas and DeeAyna Christensen for helping with the make-up & technicalities of the photo shoot.

These girls were so much fun to photograph. Hannah called me because Abbie is moving to California and they wanted to get some professional photographs taken of their group of friends. I absolutely love shooting sessions like this where the girls just bring a bunch of outfits and we get to play. As you can see, each of these girls are so incredibly beautiful and really knew how to work the camera.

Thanks girls so much for coming to the studio. I look forward to working with each of you again in the near future. Enjoy your photos! 🙂
